Everyone loves a free concert

L came into town and met me after my soup making duty in the church ... not good weather for walking round the town so after having coffee and doughnuts with the church staff and apprentices we headed to the subway and a visit to the Art Galleries.

Good to see so many folk wandering around, most of them on the ground floor where there are plenty of exhibits to see ..... toddlers are not quite so interested in the paintings which are on the first floor.

Every day at 1 o'clock there is a half hour organ recital. Today the highlight for me was Handel's Hallelujah Chorus from the Messiah ... stirring stuff.
