View across the loch

This morning, before heading for a supermarket shop, I had a walk round round the loch in the Heritage Park. 

The holidays are over, schools are back and the park was quiet ..... apart from the noise from the geese.

It was rather windy but I think that helped to keep the rain away ..... for a time anyway ..... we did have a torrential shower around lunchtime but fortunately I was inside at the time.

I don't ever remember seeing fungi in the grass .... today was a first.
