Sunday: Kamloops Pride

I mentioned yesterday that we were in Kamloops this weekend to take part in an event today. It was their first ever Pride march so we went along to support - we had loads of UK-type goodies to hand out.

It was lovely - much less sophisticated and much smaller than Vancouver but that's what made it so charming. And lovely support from spectators too.

The only slight downside was that Bill, our 'constant companion' from last night was also there. Like last night, we couldn't shake him. And rather annoyingly he kept telling people that he had arranged for us to be there. I had no hesitation in clarifying that we had only met last night and that I didn't know him.

We drove the shorter route back to Vancouver but it was still quite lengthy. A lot of driving this weekend but it's been fun.

I've added an extra from Hope, where we stopped for a bite to eat.
