Everyday I Write The Book

By Eyecatching

I'm fixing a hole

Where the rain gets in
And stops my mind from wandering

Actually I am replacing the whole damn roof. Having put the new one over the old without fixing it permanently in place (okay until you get a few high winds) I am slowly going through the process of dismantling the old one from the inside out then fixing the new one permanently in place. Slow process when you are not in the first flush of youth.

Halfway there.

After a trip into town for urgent vegan supplies we watched Murder at 1600 which is a classic movie for a wet Sunday afternoon - implausible, badly acted, undemanding fun. It is 20 years old and it makes you realise how much technology has moved on in that time and how little humans have. Conspiracy theories, it turns out, are less plausible than reality. Truth is, we are living in The Matrix and somehow the coding has gone terribly wrong. It was never meant to be this whacky or this nasty.

Actually I really do believe an alien invasion is imminent. Or perhaps visitation. They have seen what  mess we have made of it and are coming down to give us a good intergalactic spanking and make us put away out toys of mass destruction. I'm not fussed, as long as they don't land on my garage roof ...
