Lazy hazy summer days

This is a very lazy Blip taken with the iPad on the way to bed. I was hoping to get some butterflies on my new Buddleia plant this afternoon. It was pretty expensive for a plant that is supposed to grow like a weed so I hope it survives better than my last one. Unfortunately, we had a storm with heavy rain and the butterflies were not to be seen.
This painting was photographed with my messy studio in the background so it would not be completely boring. It was painted on my last course of the council lake in the town where my tutor lives.
