Let the relaxation begin...

We defied weather warnings, gales and floods to get here but we made it. We've settled into our cosy cottage in Northumberland for a week of relaxation.

Brought box sets, books and Tesco just dropped off an order of food (all the bad stuff - cheese, wine, croissants, chocolate etc.) No dieting this week.

The weather forecast looks atrocious so we'll be keeping the doors locked and kicking back. Plan is to sleep when Audrey sleeps and do absolutely nothing.

Had some bad news about my business this morning so the timing couldn't be better. And the fact that I have no mobile phone reception is a blessing.

Today's blip pic is of the beams in our cottage. It's a converted barn and is beautiful. I think I'm going to like it here.
