Hit by the morning sun

While having breakfast this morning, I realised that in the east was a colourful sunrise. Not that I could see it, as our apartment looks northwest. Nevertheless I went out to look, and as expected the view towards the northeast past many buildings was rather subdued. Turning around, I saw that an apartment building further west along Great North Road (The Dylan) was suffused with gold reflection of the morning sky.

Shortly after I headed off to the hospital, on my bicycle, and the extra is what the sky looked like half an hour or so after sunrise.
