Gold above Auckland
A day which was busy from early to late, with no chance of getting out for a walk by the lake. I was well supported by the Intern and a Medical Officer, as well as all the nurses. Some things went exceptionally well, and others left an unfinished feeling.
A normal day, in other words.
Yesterday's Guardian cryptic was started with breakfast; after I had caught up with the Olympic results, particularly the repeat Gold Medal for Lisa Carrington in the women's Kayak sprint. Only managed to solve a handful of clues before going to work, and no time to look at it over lunch. Went back to it after getting home; and have nearly finished. One of the harder ones.
Tonight's photo was taken as I was driving home. I pulled over and parked, and used the Canon compact. I take only that to work these days, and I'm pleased with this result.
