Turtletamer Tim to the Rescue

Two young teenage girls were fishing for the big carp (fish) that hang around downtown. Instead, they brought up this turtle. Evidently, the shelled one liked the piece of chicken that the girl was using for bait, and had got the hook in the mouth.

She shrieked. "What do I do? What do I do?"

I let her try one time, but she dropped the poor turtle, so I took over. I clasped it by the shell, and worked my hand up towards the head...ignoring the claws of its front feet. A gentle twist of the hook, and the hook was free. I then bent way over on the rocks, and deposited the turtle back into the river.

Glad she didn't catch the fish. I don't do fish.
