Washed out - WildWed71

The poor gas contractors are still outside digging enormously deep holes in the rain.  And rain it has done.  Incessantly.  All day.

I bought these rather wonderful dahlias in town from the stall under St Maurice's Covert (luckily out of the rain).  They are huge and white with pale mauve tips and centres and cost only £2.50 for 10 doubleheaded sprays.  That's what you get for buying flowers grown less than five miles away.  I thought the blip would be in colour but once again got seduced by the mono version.  And a washed out one at that.

Are they wild enough for WildWed?  I hope so.  Many thanks to Cailleach who, I understand, has done her nails in honour of the event ;)
