Birthday lunch

Dogs?  Again?  Oh dear, I'm afraid so..

Today is my birthday.  My son, J, got a day off work and took me and my daughter to The Bridge Inn at Shawford.  Also in the car were his dog, Duke, and Hazel.  My sis and young Jax joined us there for lunch.  This is Duke and Jax being introduced.

We did have a very good meal and then a walk on Shawford Down.  It's been a lovely day.

Honestly though, I can't believe the outbreak of dogs in our family.  These three: Duke, Hazel and Jax are all still puppies - Jax very much so, Duke and Hazel on the edge of adulthood.  If you'd said last year we'd have them all...
