Through the trees

After the huge storms yesterday, the Canigou race had to be curtailed and rerouted.  This was a disappointment for a friend of ours who had travelled from England to compete is this most severe of mountain runs. Today, however, the sunshine was back.  The morning was taken up by the first meeting of the bells committee.  Both deputy majors were in attendance and the meeting made good progress.  I went into the village to do some shopping and make some enquiries about electric mountain bike hire for a possible excursion later in the week.
