Secret Herb Garden
It's not that we go often but always enjoy the visit when we do, as each time there is something different to see.
There is always a friendly welcome, in this case by Monika and Robin in the cafe, plenty of space to explore in the greenhouse, which today was full of grapes, figs, peaches, apricots, nectarines and pears, or the schoolroom where classes in herb use are held. Take a wander round the wildlife-friendly garden (see in extra), up to see beehives and a yurt, all bounded by hedges including hazel and rowan.
The staff are most obliging, views from the garden beautiful and unusual or unofficial visitors tolerated.
Oh, and the coffee and cakes are delicious.
