Brighton

It was a bright but rough day today - very windy; at least, it was not raining.  Time to leave Sussex but first, to visit Brighton.  I really wanted to see the derelict pier following the fire some years ago and to have a try at some more long exposures.  The sea was very rough with waves crashing in sending fine spray everywhere and the camera was buffeted by the wind so the focus is not quite as sharp as it should be.  However, I was pleased with the end result of the smooth water and the cloud trails.  this is much more interesting than the other pier which is still intact.

We also had a 'flight' on the BA i360 tower - it does go up pretty high so not one for those who suffer with vertigo!  Amazing views along the coast and across Brighton.

The journey home was trouble free although plenty of traffic on the M25.  Good to be home but thanks to Hildasrose and SHH for such a fun time.
