Alien on the march

Annual leave from my day job - yes. Holiday - no! Far from it...
A day of domestic stuff and festival preparation for me. MrM's still finishing off instruments. Haven't stopped all day, and there's still lots to do, but we're getting there.

We had a late afternoon walk on the Common. Thousands of thistle flowers attracting millions of insects of all sorts (extras). Not sure what this is, but it looks a bit like a very small alien. The tiny, shiny green beetles - the flowers were swarming with them - were rather beautiful.
