Final packing, then we loaded everything into the car and caravan and, just after 1.00pm, set off for Lincolnshire. Arrived at MrM's dad's in time to spend an hour or so with MrM's sister Louise and her family before they left on their travels. Time for a nightcap with MrM's dad before bed.
Had intended to blip a view of cornfields in the flat landscape of Lincolnshire, but rather like this shot taken through the car window as MrM drove us south - a plane flying over Lincoln Cathedral.
PS. Since posting this, MrM has informed me that it's an AWACS (airborne warning and control system) plane, almost certainly on its way to land at RAF Waddington...
