A slice of Lesley's life

By Lesley

Completely Fine Sunday

Today Anna and I went shopping to gather her summer reading list. Not that the weather agreed and she commented it felt more like October half-term. She's starting with Agatha Christie's Body in the Library.

Somehow with too much busyness last week Jackson ended up with too much maths homework for his energy and concentration levels today. This has largely resulted in me doing more maths than I may have cared for so I can understand it enough to help him. Exhausting but oddly satisfying to get my head around something that was initially pretty intimidating; maths not being my natural home.

We got there in the end and his persistence is incredible but many lessons have (hopefully) been learned.

And many curries have been prepared in advance of various members of my family with various dietary requirements descending tomorrow for my eldest niece's graduation.

I did manage to get some balance into my day with finishing this lovely book recommended to me by www.blipfoto.com/munroist4113
