From Wilson's Ocean Drive

A day of rain squalls washing over the city. Took our canine to a sitting service to be looked after whilst we have a couple of days travelling. Just as I got onto the motorway heading south the first forecast storm front hit with a vengeance. Roads started flooding within minutes and driving became quite a chore. High winds, hail and buckets of rain came and went and came again. Snow down to 200 meters forcast for tomorrow! Driving to Timaru is going to be fun!!
