Living Sculpture

To market, to market.....

An estimated 20,000 people expected to peruse the market so the powers that be closed off the street and had the cooked food vendors out on the street leaving a bit more space in the market space itself for the crowds to move about. It worked a treat and a great market was had by all.

A group of three youngsters entertaining as living sculptures were amongst a plethora of buskers drawing attention. This young man was delightful and I took many images of him from various points of view choosing this one for its relaxed nature.

AB's won in an entertaining game, against Tonga, which bought out the best and weakest points of each teams game. Lots of work to be done before we can bring home the cup.

Our new stadium did us proud as England, embarrassed by Johnny Wilkinson's inability to kick the ball over the cross-bar, just managed a win against Argentina.

I am not really a rugby fan but one cannot help but get the patriotic welling of pride in moments like these. Dunedin swelled by influx of English, Argentines and myriad other cultures flying their flags and filling every last Hotel and Bed and Breakfast to bursting point. Everyone having a great time.
