As Told By Ginger

New World Symphony

We almost made it through Italian without a teacher today. Our sub showed up more than halfway through the period and we still had to take the test that we had scheduled for the day. Ran a 6:06 mile in gym today.

Today was our first cross country meet. This was the first race I actually felt ready for and wanted to run. We faced our toughest competition of the season; Garden City. We put up a good fight, and they're definitely beatable in the future, but I guess today just wasn't the day. We'll get 'em next time.

On a brighter note, tonight was the first MYO (Metropolitan Youth Orchestra) rehearsal of the year. This is my fourth year in MYO, and my first in the Principle Orchestra. The conductor is really funny and I love the song we're playing so I know that this is going to be a good season.

I should probably go to bed soon, seeing as it's 11:00 and I have school tomorrow, but I think I'm gonna take a crack at the physics question we had for homework.

Goodnight, all.

This is the start of the boys' JV race.
