Botanical Beach, Port Renfrew

The Mum and Mom returned to the campsite at approx 8:30am this morning to find everything calm and under control. They'd all slept well, eaten and whilst the kids played the Dad's were packing up. The kids were filthy but they looked so fresh and healthy - love it!
We stopped off at our favourite Canadian cafe, Tim Hortons, for some extra nourishment before driving to the west of the island so that we could hike from Port Renfrew down to the botanical beach. It was great as the kids hunted for crabs etc in all the rock pools. Walking through the rainforest was also fun.

Interesting fact: the next country to the west is Japan, from where we were. It's also firmly on the list of places I want to go. My appetite for travel at the moment needs to be reigned it!
