Maratea

Today we moved eastwards towards the Basilicata coast to Maratea. This time we stayed at a hotel which had previously been an 18th century convent. The hotel was built on the hillside overlooking the medieval town. There was an awful lot of steps to negotiate down to the restaurants! here's a night time view from our balcony.
