Cookie Monster

It was all a bit dramatic getting out this morning. Bella was all concerned because she is a drama queen she overslept slightly and thought she'd be late for school. But she wasn't. So that's alright.

I dropped Red off first as I drove the younger 3 in because I couldn't face a tantrum from Red over walking to school. And almost forgot to go and see the other 2 in as they'd gone on ahead to play in the infants playground...

Down into town then for a cheeky Killigrew - I took my book and everything - before a massage! How decadent am I?

After my beautifully relaxed morning I decided to undo all the good work do baking with Red. And very successful it was too. I might* even do it again with him...

Teatime was Ally's turn for a little drama when I tried to poison him with couscous. To be fair, I can't stand the stuff either. But then packet is now used up (I am cupboard clearing) and will not be replaced. On the upside, my spicy lamb and apricot 'stew' was bloody lush in comparison and they have all asked for it again (but with rice)!

I am delighted to announce that Lily stayed in her bed all night. And she didn't scream. In fact, all 4 children were still asleep (and had been all night) when I jumped in the shower at 7.30! Seems Lily is better with the stick rather than the carrot on this particular battle...
