Another Crane

There's a lot of building work going on and they don't mess about. When we were here in December the foundations were starting to be laid for these blocks of flats; now it looks like the fitting out is starting on the first block, furthest back in this picture, and the other builds are rattling along. The flats are all sold - the build doesn't start until then and the buyers pay up as the work progresses. Mind you with 1% loans or less I think I'd have borrowed the lot up front!
This lot backs onto a cornfield. When we rolled up a month ago the corn was maybe a couple of feet high, now it's a couple of metres high. Lots of sun and lots of rain will do that!
