Made a quick visit to the 798 Art District in Beijing this morning. Like a lot of the city centre it's been hugely westernised and is no longer a home to actual artists while a lot of galleries have been replaced by trendy cafes. We were looking for photography galleries but only found two, one interesting and the other in-between exhibitions. So a bit disappointing but we do have another poster for the flat! I like this piece, looked like Tony Blair having a bad day.

Spent this afternoon out in the country at Daniel's studio, a kind of Chinese-style dacha, where we were guest speakers to some of his class of school kids. We chatted and showed some pictures, he translated. Or maybe not, we have no way of knowing. It was great fun though!!
