Time for a bit of a stretch

I'm going home tomorrow for a few days .... gardens don't look after themselves!

Elie has no garage so L and I took a trip to St Andrews to get petrol from the local supermarket.  We took advantage of our visit and enjoyed a walk by the harbour and up to the ruins of the castle.  

There were so many people around today ..... the holidaymakers both foreign and local were out in force enjoying the lovely sunny afternoon.

The heron managed to find a secluded spot at the side of the cliff where he busied himself with a fair amount of preening and some good stretching exercises.
