Laxey Harbour

To the Isle of Man for the week, with my Dad and Sister. Dad was evacuated here in World War 2 and we spent some childhood holidays here. As this week is his 90th birthday we are making a reminiscent journey.

In the village we crossed the Old Laxey New Bridge, an ancient structure in "Old Laxey" which was destroyed by flooding and a double decker bus in 2015 and rebuilt in 2016.

Laxey has some colourful cottages, an attractive bay, curious changing rooms as well as helpful signage.
