Mersey Paradise

Someone stole Audrey and replaced her. Its the only explanation. We just had the perfect day. She literally woke up smiling and carried on smiling all day. In fact, she didn't cry once. Not once. It's a miracle I tell thee!

Unfortunately, she didn't sleep through the night last night (but then my husband didn't feed her when he went to bed so am not sure what we were expecting). She had her last feed at 6pm and woke again at 2am and then I woke her at 7am so not bad really. And wow, what an improvement on the last few weeks!

I made the most of her good mood today and popped her in the pram and took the scenic route down by the River Mersey to Didsbury. The walk was wonderful, Audrey grinning from the pram, the sun shining, the river glistening and a light breeze blowing the trees. A real feel good moment.

We lunched at The Metropolitan and whizzed back the road way in time for her next feed.

Spent the afternoon playing, singing and cuddling. Bloody loved it. Hanging out with my daughter. Such a brilliant day. And to top it all our best mates up the road in Chorlton just told us they got engaged while they were on holiday. Am off to bed grinning.
