Change of plan

After staying in our hotel room all last night, hub was hot and cold, shivery.......just generally didnt feel very well, and in addition his foot is still giving him grief, so we decided to change our flight and go home a little earlier than planned.

The weather today is probably the best its been over the holiday, in terms of what we expected and prefer......much fresher, mid 20s, almost no humidity, or heat haze, we can see clearly all the way across to the other side of the lake, hence hub feels much better in himself than he did with these cooller temperatures.

We went out late morning, after making arrangements to return home later tonight, had a lovely lunch sat by the lake, watched this beautiful sailing boat set off with a family on board to enjoy their day on the lake.

Went back to the hotel to pack, shower for our 5pm taxi pick up to Verona. The temperatures hvae gradually crept up during the afternoon, around 31 on the way to the airport. Everything went smoothly at the airport, our flight left at 8.20 and we landed in Manchester at 9.30 having put our clocks back an hour....in the house at 10.40pm.

Pretty good going really ;-)
