A view from the hill

Day 12, Sunday

Today is our friends birthday (mother of the bride), birthday cards at breakfast :-)

Hub has been feeling the effects of the heat a little over the last couple of days, so we've opted for a day by the pool today. He's going to catch up on all that's been happening over the last few days........watching Sunday morning politics!!

I, on the other hand, could be found on my sun lounger ;-)

We watched the Wales NI football, bit of a shame how it was won, but one of them had to win, one way or another......our turn tomorrow!

This evening 15 of us met us at Nikolas Taverna, one of Janette's favourite restaurants. Very lovely it was too, with a fab view over the bay. We all had a lovely meal, and of course, toasted her birthday. We both had slowed cooked lamb shank in balsamic and onion glaze, beautiful!! This was the view half way up the hill!

Relatively early to bed as we have an early start for a trip tomorrow.
