Ben Buie Sunset

We don't have a sea view to the west, but the sun setting behind Ben Buie was quite impressive tonight.

We went over to Iona today - a long drive on single track roads. The highland cattle (extra) were on the beach as we drove home along Loch Scridain.

Iona was busy. We walked up to the north end and picnicked  on the machair (grazing land) above the beach. The flowers are out and it was lovely, (extra). We left ourselves with insufficient time to go into the Abbey, but we were there last year and I'd rather go when it is quieter, so no tears over that.
