World Nude Hiking Day

It was - really, though I saw no-one braving it. A quick wander around the garden was enough for me.

Then another full on day as we headed off to Cork City. It was seriously sweltering and getting to UCC (University College Cork) was a bit of a nightmare and we arrived sweaty and stressed. I had been invited to do a short presentation at a holy well evening (!) and first we tried to find a bite to eat. Everything closed at four but fortunately there were very tasty and elegant nibbles at the venue. A very select audience turned up but they were all very enthusiastic and interesting and I made some good contacts so all good. It was actually a very good trial run for a more serious conference happening in Waterford next week - a two day event, first day is for the academics and the second day the explorers get a chance to show what they've been up to! Amazing how many holy well enthusiasts are out there!
