Pink seats

Happy Solstice!
I went to a leavers' service at my old school this morning - well the church - as my last pupil was leaving. Astonishing how much they grow in a few years!  Then I went on to Ballycommane House to view a) the stone row and boulder burial that is on their land, it being the Solstice and b) their garden, it being part of the West Cork Garden Trail. A wonderful garden full of different areas but I was most struck by this huge view out into the meadow with funky pink chairs in the distance.

That massive boulder by the way is a lump of pure quartz. It must gave glimmered impressively back in the day - see extra.

The sun is out, it's warm and hopefully I'll be swimming soon.
