Wild Wednesday . . .Alpaca

It is the winter solstice here and we had another calm, clear day.  Sunrise was at 7.52 a.m and sunset 5.05 p.m.  The temperature was 14c and 5c overnight.  We went for an explore to the south of us and came past a paddock with these sweet Alpacas grazing in the sunshine.  They look so alert and curious.  On the way home we bought a load of compost to put in the asparagus bed that the forester is developing.
