Underwater

It's been a scorcher today. We went into town this morning to see the heritage festival. The children really enjoyed it. We watched the Roman Soldiers parade and the civil war reenactment. The firing of the muskets was a bit loud though and made us all jump! We walked round the cathedral and saw some vikings, normans and WW1 soldiers. We also watched some fire juggling and had a go on some stilts. It was all happening!

We stopped for a late lunch in Wagamama's and then made our way home. Xander fell asleep in the car and stayed sparko on the sofa. Pheebs decided to cool off in the paddling pool. I so wanted to get in too but wouldn't inflict that on the neighbors!
