Loch Maree & Slioch

Backblip


A drive south today through Poolewe and Gairloch to visit Loch Maree, one of our favourite lochs (as long as there are no midges around!)  The clouds were low over the hills, so this view of a strange hand-like tree pointing to the Munro of Slioch doesn't look quite like it does on the information board:-)

We called in to the Isle of Ewe Smokehouse on the way back to the cottage for some of their scrummy smoked salmon which we had for tea.  Very more-ish!
