Inverewe Gardens

Backblip


We'd driven past Inverewe Gardens a couple of times in the rain, but today we managed to find it in warm-ish sunshine, so called in for a visit, our first in about 20 years.  Lots of changes in that time, including the new vegetable garden shown in the main photo, but much of the garden remains the same and is still magnificent and surprising.  A few more shots in Extras

Later we explored the coastline of the peninsula opposite Aultbea and enjoyed some time on a deserted beach in Cove before the rain set in again.

Such tragic news about the London tower block fire (we have TV coverage, if not wi-fi or phone signal).  We can barely take in the horror of it all for the people involved.
