Potfest Purchases - 2016

In spite of the dire weather (cold and very wet), we decided to visit Potfest at Scone Palace near Perth today.  Always feel sorry for the exhibitors if few people turn up, but needn't have worried as there were still crowds of enthusiastic buyers!

Tried hard (well, not very hard!) to resist the lovely things for sale, but gave in easily and purchased not 1, not 2 but 3 items:-)  The first is this lovely swirly bowl;  the second a tiny matching jug to add to my windowsill collection and the third a coffee mug that just took my fancy (not that I actually need another coffee mug!)

Sat outside under a marquee in the pouring rain to munch a posh burger (beef and chorizo or could have had venison) and met a lovely couple with whom we discussed aircraft - all started because the man was wearing a fleece with a Vulcan emblem.  He was delighted to meet my husband who actually worked with Vulcans:-)

Home again and trying hard to thaw out!  Thank goodness the parade in London missed the worst of the showers and the sun came out for Her Majesty:-)
