Roche Rock
A beautiful sunny day and we travelled back home after visiting The Eden Project via Roche Rock. It was more by accident that we came across this place and when we saw it we stopped to explore. Its a special place according to the signs for its geology (it comprises grey quartz and black tourmaline), its history (the ruins of a Chapel dedicated to St Michael from 1409 sit on top) and the local heathland surrounding it.
I have also included extra blips from the Eden Project also a fascinating place to visit. The biospheres are so large it really is like being in different countries. The extras are of the worlds largest flower (Titan arum) lily which is about to flower, a ginger flower and of course the biomes.
So back blipping for the past two days is now complete.
