Edinburgh in the rain

We left Inverness in the sunshine but by the time we got off the train at Waverley , Edinburgh the heavens had opened and we had to rush for shelter. So 5-10 minutes in a record shop while Richard searched on line for somewhere to eat and then just a short walk to Belle Italia. We had a very tasty, leisurely lunch of pizza and lasagne. We watched people with colourful umbrellas of all colours and sizes.Such a shame for people visiting as it was really so wet and cold.
Richard found his hotel and then we went to the one where Mike and myself were staying. We stayed there until Mike caught up with us after his meeting.
A taxi ride to the Corn exchange to see Arcade Fire a band from Canada. We managed to get to the front of the 360 degree stage which was good as I could learn on the barrier as well as get a good view. An excellent set and enthusiastic crowd. Really enjoyed it but my ears are still ringing. The band sang in the audience , right in front of Richard so he was chuffed.Richard's photo in the extras, we were standing to the left of him with a super view too.
We caught the bus back to the hotel, feeling tired.
