Robin

The baby robins are looking very fit and healthy, probably eating all those big worm has helped. We have at least three in the garden and I can hear more in the trees near the burn. Apparently they stay near to the nest site once they have fledged. The flight feathers are the last to grow and grow after the robin has fledged so they are unable to fly for the first few days after fledging. The male will continue to feed them for up to three weeks while the female gets ready for her next brood.
