Wild and Windy

Today, we both headed out into Edinburgh. A stiff wind came in the night and blew all the clouds away. What an amazing change!
I've changed, too, amazed to feel even a little better.
We walked to a huge, bright and shiny Sainsbury's supermarket for supplies - and then headed right back home. There were spires and steeples near and far, even poking up through what quickly became a much more suburban area of detached houses and noisy schoolyards, all lovely.
Now Mr Extradays seems to be easing into his turn with this bug or whatever it is. (I guess easing isn't just the right word.)
Yesterday, we called the National Health Service and talked to a helpful and reassuring nurse. Way comforting to pick up the phone and find a warm and patient voice. Thank you, NHS!
In the morning, we head to the airport for a flight to Oslo. Wouldn't mind staying here for a few more days, but, the thought of changing carefully laid plans is entirely too daunting; I don't believe I could figure anything out. Especially if anything was anything like the washer/dryer combo thingy here.
