Clematis

Up and out early to the Puffin Pool. Lots of chat (mainly listening from me) afterwards mainly about the pressure of being a Grandparent and feeling tired. Interesting how many did nt have a good experience at school but have had a good and successful career once they left.
A nice day with a few showers and a nice evening , really pleased as some of the Brownies are at a County Camp, a first time for them but I'm sure they will have fun and look forward to hearing all about it on Tuesday.
The flowers are looking good in the garden, got past the straggly dead stage at the end of Spring and Summer flowers are starting to bloom. A really good year for the clematis, this one is particularly good at the moment.
I think I spotted a wrens nest too. I know one was in one of the nest boxes and this one was hidden under the decking. I do nt think either are in use. Apparently the male will build up to 6 nests and the female will choose the one she likes best, what a good idea ;)
The blue tits in both boxes are now very vocal so might not be long before they fledge.
