Ploegstreert (Plugstreet to the British!)

Visited a couple of places this morning including Hill 60 and the Christmas Truce field where Germans and British played football. On the way between the two we found the Plugstreet Experience. If you are ever in the area in Belgium it is a must see. All of us, including our resident expert, learned something about the build up to 'The Great War', and there is one of those lovely roadside cafes across the road opposite this memorial and CWGC graveyard.
Weather is terrific by the way, blazing sunshine. Only problem being when you stop the bike jacket acts like an oven!
