Raindrops on a seed head

It rained last night and this morning, the garden was very dry and desperate for a good soaking. 

It was difficult to choose between a number of close up shots but decided on this seed head of Herb Bennett (or Wood Avens) as I liked the colours.

The Marsh Marigold had completely taken over my tiny pond so I pulled that out with help from F as it had a big heavy root on it. I added some water from the water butt and it looks much better now. There's a lot more room for the frogs but I don't know if they will thank me as they can be seen more easily now.
