It's A Heron! It's A Heron!

I rarely get to see blue herons after I leave Florida. I just don't think Michigan is a prime summer destination for them. Too bad. I wish they would spread the word amongst themselves...AND...bring their pelican friends with them.

I snuck up on this tall tall bird,
as if it were my prey.

 one more as it flew away.

Went to a funeral today for one of my cousins. Sherry was 66-67, and was the first sibling to pass in a large family of 7 children.

Always sad, but it was a nice service.
