Memorial Day 2017

Many people came to visit,
bringing flowers from yellow to red.
There to pay their homage...
to the fallen and the dead.

The guy in the big picture was interesting. Most people come to the cemetery to see one particular grave...a relative or a friend. But, this man went up and down several different rows...5 minutes...10 minutes...15 minutes. Finally, he knelt down, and placed his flowers on a grave. Made me wonder.

Our holiday tomorrow will consist of watching the small parade in town, and attending the memorial service in the city cemetery. It is usually quite moving.
