Morning at the beach

My friend lives in a lovely part of Scotland and is a 5 minute car journey from the beach.  This is her local beach, we spent a couple of hours here building sand castles - or if you are 2, knocking them down. I love this beach, I've been here several times and never tire of it.

For the boys, it was the first time they had seen the sea, it was just wonderful seeing the reaction of the older one (for the youngest, it wasn't really registering).

My friend had to leave us for a couple of hours to drive her lovely little boy to see his father for the weekend.  A lovely evening with a bit too much wine, very good food and talking way too much.
