Standing still

Apparently fiction is 'lies'. Lies are ok as long as you are doing it to save face, if you are writing fiction because it feels right, its wrong.
I dearly wanted to treat him the way he treated me last year, but found that I couldn't do it.
Dya think he will be thankful? Self-righteous or silent?
