dress, ring and church

I should have put this up yesterday!!
Its a very blustery day here in sunny Sheffield. SO went to the hosp by himself today, I think he is able to 'wait' better without me prattling on along side him.
An unexpectedly free day (still no work), I met up with some friends and we peeled, cored, sliced apples then slid the rings onto canes for drying, whilst we drank tea and put the world to rights.
DD is here for the week, she went off to school from here for the first time this morning, seemed to go ok. She currently in town with her friends, a 2 minute walk away, that seems to make her happy.
